BIOGRAPHY
Motivational Speaker and Comedian, Sally Edwards, grew up in a northern suburb of Chicago, IL and attended an all-girls' Catholic boarding school. Although quiet and shy during her high schol years, Sally's mind was always racing with creative ideas that put a funny spin on her life at Sacred Heart's Woodlands Academy. Sally Edwards graduated high school with honors and went on to Denison University (following a freshman year at St. Mary's of Notre Dame). At Denison she hoped to pursue a degree in drama but was dissuaded by her parents to pursue a more "solid" degree in psychology.
Sally Edwards never gave up her dream to make people laugh. Following graduation from Denison University, she enrolled in Chicago's "Second City" improvisational classes. She was noticed by the now legedary Del Close (who later directed "Saturday Night Live") as has having a special talent and creativity. Sally Edwards went on to perform solo at Zanies Comedy Club where she added the brand "clean comedy" to her material. As a stand up comedian, SallyEdwards, has shared the stage with some of the nations' top entertainers including Drew Carey, Rob Riggle, Gilbert Gottfried, Jeff Garlin, Jeffrey Ross, Paul Reiser and Richard Lewis. Sally Edwards is a favorite of Zanies Comedy Club in Chicago and she has appeared on A&E, Showtime and ABC performing her top-notch comedy routines!
